Welcome to Missoula!

My name is Tarah Hillesland. I am a fourth generation Montana with a deep love for Missoula and everything it has to offer. I grew up fishing, hiking, camping and swimming in the many lakes and rivers that surround Missoula. Since graduating in 2011 with my BA in Elementary Education from U of M-Go Griz, I have spent the last 12 years teaching a wide range of students. Including 8 years in rural schools in Eastern Montana. I currently run Big Sky Preschool Academy; A small in-home, half-day program that keeps my passion for teaching alive. I love spending my time at griz games, flathead lake and playing at home with my children.

Being from the area I have a uinque perspecive into the intricacies of each neighborhood. Being a mother of 4 keeps me organized, attentive to details and caffeinated.
